Those little mice are at it again! Jaq and Gus are out to help Cinderella thwart the wicked Lady Tremaine from turning back time! Buena Vista Home Entertainment recently presented "Cinderella III: A Twist In Time" on DVD at the Wyndham Bel Age Hotel in West Hollywood. To celebrate, little princesses were invited to a tea party with the likes of Cinderella, the Prince and some of Hollywood's biggest movie stars.
The affair was fit for a princess, with a giant ice sculpture shaped like Cinderella's glass slipper. Tea, soda, dainty sandwiches and sweets were laid out under the slipper. Delicious! Although tasty, daddies in attendance probably would've requested something a little more filling. But it was a day for princesses!
Stars Marcia Gay Harden ("Space Cowboys"), Catherine Bell ("Army Wives"), Melinda Clarke ("The O.C."), Rachel Fox ("Desperate Housewives"), Rachel Griffiths ("Step Up!"), Debi Mazur ("Entourage"), Rob Morrow ("Numb3rs"), Ryan Newman ("Monster House"), Jane Sibbett ("Snow Dogs"), Sean Astin ("Lord Of The Rings" trilogy) and Skeet Ulrich ("Jericho") brought their little girls to celebrate the event.
Guests were treated to freshly popped popcorn, drinks aplenty, and were escorted into separate salons to watch Disney's latest DVD feature.
The movie is delightful for children, as it's fast paced and filled with plenty of songs and comic action to keep them entertained. This is not to say it's a worthy successor to the original 1950 Walt Disney classic, but the story is better than it was in "Cinderella II: Dreams Come True" (2002).
The new DVD was released in stores on February 6, 2007.
